The Kingsmen gather monthly in local chapters to better understand our call and duty to biblical manhood.
The Kingsmen live out biblical manhood daily as we walk alongside each other in accountability and support.
The Kingsmen raise up other biblical men, young and old, through regular gathering, dicipleship, & ceremony.
Understanding Biblical Manhood
What is biblical manhood?
"Biblical Manhood consists of Leading, Loving, Providing, and Protecting. A man of God is called to lead himself by denying himself, following Jesus, and helping others do the same. A man of God is called to lead his family as head of the home. A man of God is called to love his family with cruciform love. A man of God is called to provide holistically for his family. A man of God is called to protect his family from physical and spiritual danger." - Blake White
We know there are many men that desire to step into biblical manhood and live intentionally to make an eternal impact on their families, their communities, and the world. Sometimes this is a challenge when you are going at it alone. The Kingsmen exist to be an avenue for these men to be obedient to God’s Word, sharpen each other, and raise other biblical men to go and do the same.

What is the kingsmen?
The Kingsmen are an answer to the lack of biblical manliness in the world today. We gather in local community chapters all over to equip ourselves with scripture, challenge each other, and raise future generations in biblical manhood. We boldly rise to this challenge in an effort to make eternal impact in our local community and around the world.
Kingsmen meet in local chapters that are either affiliated with a church or started within a community by a Kingsmen leader. Each Kingsmen leader determines the frequency of their meetings, however, the minimum requirement is once a month to unpack biblical manhood using God's Word and vetted resources.
Disciples of Jesus are those who are making disciples. We encourage weekly small groups that dive deeper into discipleship and accountability with your fellow Kingsmen. If you are a church hosted Kingsmen Chapter, feel free to incorporate a discipleship program if you have one. If you are a community Kingsmen Chapter, check out our resources page for some discipleship tools.
husbands and wives
Every year each Kingsmen chapter gathers the wives for a special group dinner date. We desire to go all out here, lavishing our wives with due honor. Often, we'll see the single and young adult Kingsmen serving in preparation for their future spouse.
fathers and sons
Every year each Kingsmen chapter gathers their fathers and sons for a camping trip. One weekend in the woods where we can show them what being Kingsmen is all about.
fathers and Daughters
Every year each Kingsmen chapter gathers their fathers and daughters for a date night. We like to encourage the sons of Kingsmen fathers serve as the hosts, getting their practice in for treating ladies with the heart of a servant, honor, and respect.
Local and global missions
Jesus modeled servant leadership and we intend to do the same in our local and worldwide communities. Some Kingsmen chapters may adopt a local mission to participate in serving that mission accordingly. Others may choose to organize a global mission trip with their chapter. Every year however, Kingsmen will offer a Global trip to any Kingsmen member from any chapter that is interested in joining.
Ceremonies are an important part of the growth path for young boys on their journey to manhood. We encourage Kingsmen chapters to make these especially important for lasting impact. The minimum age to join a Kingsmen chapter is 16. We encourage a ceremonial gathering for Kingsmen sons at 13, 16 upon inauguration, graduation and marriage.
yearly kingsmen retreat
Every year we gather all Kingsmen Chapters for a 2 day conference where a guest speaker unpacks biblical manhood and we enjoy small group time, outdoor activities and manly food. See the latest retreat information here.
Kingsmen Abilene will be launching March 21, 2020 and will be held on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Our typical agenda includes grub, fellowship, biblical manhood discussion, practical application, and accountability.
